Whip
Basics
- A Beginners Guide
This DVD set includes
detailed explanations of how to do (and how not to
do!) five basic cracks. The five basic cracks include the
overhand flick, sidearm flick/reverse horizontal, underhand flick,
cattleman's crack/circus crack, and the overhead crack/horizontal
crack. This video is great for the pure beginner, a beginner
who wants to perfect his form, or for a more advanced whipcracker who
wants to learn one instructor's techniques for teaching whipcracking to
beginners.

Whip
Basics - A Beginners Guide Vol. II
Whip Basics - A
Beginners Guide Vol. II is for whipcracking students who have mastered
the basic cracks
explained in the first volume (above). This NTSC/Data disc set
will focus
on new techniques: the fast & slow figure eight, a modified version
of the
coachman's crack, a
variation of the forward flick, how to combine cracks, an arrangement
of 10 cracks in a
continuous sequence, and very basic targeting with a variety of
targeting stances.

Whip
Basics - A Beginners Guide Vol. III
As the last DVD in the
Whip Basics trilogy, Volume III directly
builds on Vol. II, and among other things explains the slow figure
eight in the overhead plane, how to turn and pivot your body during
multiple crack routines, and shows how to wrap
objects and people safely (aka "body wraps"). At the end of Vol III,
the crack combinations from Vol. I and Vol. II will be merged and
extended into a combination of 23 cracks.
