Collection - How to Bid/Make an Offer
Bidding
- The whips will be sold individually, with three to four whips from
different sections of the collection available for bidding during each
individual item's bidding period. This will be a Two-Bid Silent Auction.
Persons interested in a whip that is one of the active whips will have
two weeks to email their initial bid (minimum reserve prices are listed
with each whip in the online catalog) to CooleyCollection@midwestwhips.com
with the item number of the whip they are bidding on (H-5, AE-3, etc.)
in the subject line of the email. When the initial two weeks are
up, only the persons who entered an
initial bid will be sent an email with the updated status of
the bidding on that particular whip, and given a one week long
opportunity to place a second and final silent bid. At the end of
this third and final week, all bidders will be notified that the
auction has ended, and the winner of the whip will be contacted to
finalize payment and shipping details.
The right to accept or reject any bid is at
the sole discretion of the Broker (MidWestWhips) and/or of the Owner of
the collection, for whatever reason.
Timeline - Each item will be open to bids
for their individually listed time period, which can be extended at the
discretion of the Broker (MidWestWhips) and/or Owner of the collection
if there have been no bids, or the reserve price has not been met.

- Bidding for H-5, UK-1, SH-1
begins April 15th, through April 29th, 2010
- Bidding for H-6, ZE-3, P-1, M-1
begins April
30th, through May 14th, 2010
- Bidding for H-8, ZE-2, M-2
begins May 15th, through May 29th, 2010
- Bidding for H-10, UK-4, M-3
begins May 30th, through June 13th, 2010
Payment - After the
auction for each item has ended, the winning bidder of that item will
receive an email notification with details on how to proceed with
payment and shipping options. Payment can be made in the form of
Personal Check, Money Order, or Paypal (Please note that any payments
for items in this auction made through paypal are subject to an
additional cost to cover paypal fees).

To bid or make an offer on any of the items in the collection have a
look at the Bidding/Purchase
Information page, and send an
email with your offer(s) to CooleyCollection@midwestwhips.com
with the item number(s), for example: H-7, AE-3, etc..., of the
item(s) you are bidding on in the subject line. You will receive
a response email as soon as possible informing you of your offer/bid
status, and if your offer has been accepted, rejected, or outbid.
To make offers on multiple items, please send a seperate email for each
individual item.
