Col. Tim McCoy Stockwhip - Most likely made sometime around 1920's
or 1930's -
This whip rests in the National Cowboy & Western Herritage Museum Photos courtesy of Adam Winrich  This Whip was owned by silent film star Colonel Tim McCoy. It looks to have a 24 plait handle, and at least a 16 plait thong. Thong looks to have had the last couple feet of it lost.  |
