ft, are on average about 7 sq ft, and are hand-picked for whipmakers
with very few scars, and very little stretch. Color choices
include natural tan, saddle tan, whiskey, brandy, and black.
(When
greased with braiding soap, colors are darker than in picture).
Occasionally we will also have whiskey red/roan, red, or a few other
colors in stock.
These hides are the best we have found anywhere, and are what we use
for our whips. We are proud to be the sole reseller in the US of
these fine whipmaking 'roo hides.

grade hides are still excellent quality, but tend to have a few more
scars or imperfections. These hides are great for beginners who
are learning to cut 'roo or for professionals who would use these for
wide belly strands, cores, or bolsters.

species kangaroo hides are generally thicker than red species and have

We
now
have
in stock Alum-tanned Whitehide and Indian-tanned Latigo
perfect for falls. For whipmakers and whipcrackers alike,
the least expensive way to obtain falls is to make your
own. Fall leather pieces are available in 6"x36" sections, which
should make a miniumum of
25-45 full-size falls, depending on how you
cut your falls and what size you prefer to cut them. This is the
exact same material we use to make our own falls, just in a
smaller piece, for a smaller price, and for smaller shipping
costs.
